The Momence City Council will meet today at 7:30 p.m. at Momence City Hall, 123 W. River St.
Under the citizen-forum section of the agenda, Joe Krause is scheduled to speak about a Knights of Columbus sign request on North Dixie. The Aldermanic report will be conducted by Diann Denton, and a discussion will be held and a vote taken on a property tax levy.
Another vote will be taken after the mayor's report; this vote concerns the obligation retirement resolution for MFT.
At the conclusion of the regular meeting, the council will go into executive session. Topics to be discussed during that section include employment and compensation of specific public employees.
