The village of Bradley’s Planning and Zoning Commission recently approved a special use permit for an automobile-related business.

The permit request was made by David Taylor of Taylor Holdings LLC. Kenneth Carlson, a lawyer representing Taylor, said his client wanted to purchase the property at 900 N. Kinzie Ave. to open a car wash, automobile detailing and accessories, and quick-lube business.

No cars will be sold at the site.

Committee members unanimously approved the permit request.

The village of Bradley’s Planning and Zoning Commission includes Chairman Mike Smith, Ryland Gagnon, Joanne McGinnis, John Ross Jr., James Guiss, Mike Dauphin, Clark Gregoire, Joel Mingus and Michael Stump.

The commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
