The Momence City Council will consider a proposed ordinance to amend regulations on the size and weight of vehicles passing through town during its meeting 7:30 p.m. Monday at 123 W. River St.
The council will also discuss the hiring of police personnel as well as a proposed ordinance pertaining to Enterprise Zone boundaries.
The council is expected to appoint Carolyn Navratil to the Plan Commission.
An executive session will also be held to discuss any personnel or potential land-acquisition issues. After this closed session, any actions taken on matters discussed will be done in public.
