The Manteno Chamber of Commerce will host the 2016 Manteno Industrial Lunch and Learn Thursday at the Leo T. Hassett Community Center.
Speakers, including Manteno Mayor Tim Nugent and Dr. Kris Condon of Kankakee Community College, will present the latest updates in local industry developments and discuss how these developments impact Manteno.
Chamber officials said the event will also be a good way for local industrial professionals to meet one another, discuss and exchange ideas.
The Leo T. Hassett Community Center is located at 211 N. Main St. in Manteno.
The gathering is scheduled to run from noon to 1 p.m. Registration opens at 11:45 a.m.
