The Illinois Department of Transportation announced on April 20 that the IL 114-Union Pacific Railroad grade crossing in Momence would be closed on Tuesday, May 3, and remain closed for approximately five days.
This change in service will go into effect on May 3 and impact local motorists. The decision to change this service was made to allow the Union Pacific Railroad to repair its crossing.
