Bourbonnais Police Committee releases minutes from February meeting

The Village of Bourbonnais Police Committee met Wednesday, Feb. 10.

The Bourbonnais Police Committee oversees all matters related to the village’s police department.

Trustee Greenlee held a police committee meeting on February 10, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.

1. ROLL CALL

Present police committee meeting was Village President Shore, Village Administrator Van Mill, Trustee Greenlee, TrusteeFischer, Trustee King, Trustee Keast, and Trustee Littrell. Also present was Village Treasurer Riebe, Finance Director Wolf, Chief Phelps, Assistant Administrator Wimberly and Village Attorney Dunn. Absent is Trustee Amiano

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion was made by Trustee King and seconded by Trustee Keast to approve the committee meeting minutes from December 2, 2015. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0

3. DISPATCH CONSOLIDATION

Chief Phelps "Chief" provided and reviewed a Power Point presentation outlining the various program objectives, options, comparisons (with Kancomm and Bradley dispatch centers), costs, and conclusions. See attached document.

5. NEW BUSINESS

None

6. OLD BUSINESS

Trustee Littrrell thanked the Chief for the data provided on the 2015 Annual Report.

7. PUBLIC COMMENTS

None

8. ADJOURNMENT

Amotion was made by Trustee Keast and seconded by Trustee Litrell to adjourn the regular board meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0 and the meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
