Senior leadership is in good supply for the Bradley-Bourbonnais cross-country teams this season.

The boys' team has seniors Lenny Baumann, Zach Joaquin and David Martin, as well as depth and young runners behind them.

“I think it should be exciting watching the boys compete within our team, but also against other teams,” head coach Tony Swafford said recently. “We have had a strong summer full of improvement, and they are eager to race.”

Other boys' team members include seniors Dylan Johnson, Nick Blanchette, Nate Blanchette, Henry Rotor and Trenton Woo; juniors Drue Haskins, Dominic Pusateri, Ben Randak, Nick Thiesen, Matt Will, Nick McCann, Ben Randak, Jackson Kempen, Damien Cantrell and Devon Harris; sophomores Mark Pickering, Caleb Piacenti, Noah Kuxmann, Luke Bisping and Logan Harrington; and freshmen Grayson Gonski, Jacob Fritz, Nathaniel Nepomuceno and Caleb Neal.

The girls' team, meanwhile, has the senior trio of Claire Hammes, Jillian Boudreau and Madi Gonski., plus junior Mia Martin.

“This group worked really hard this summer, and additions up and down the roster give the coaches plenty of reason to believe they can achieve great things this season,” Swafford said.

The rest of the girls' roster has seniors Sophie Beyer, Nora Goodman, Olivia Johnson and Kennedy Weigt; juniors Camryn Bedell, Hannah Chaney, Lauren Kee, Erika Norwick, Becki Walz and Brittney Wicker; sophomores Tiffany Bouzek, Maiah Caise, Avery Fountain, Alexis Hicks, Isabella Hoskins, Alyssa Stoll and Zion Kee; and freshmen Jessica Parker and Hope Tapp.

Note: Not all teams returned information requests by press time.
