Bourbonnais Finance Committee estimates construction costs

The village of Bourbonnais Finance Committee met Oct. 12 to estimate construction costs.

Here are the meeting's minutes, as provided by the committee:

The Bourbonnais Finance Committee advises the city council on all financial matters related to the village.

Village of Bourbonnais FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

October 12, 2016

Trustee Amiano at the regular board meeting held on October 3, 2016 scheduled a finance committee meeting to take place on October 12, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.

1. Roll Call:

Village President Paul Schore, Trustee Amiano, Trustee Fischer, Trustee Greenlee, Trustee Keast, Trustee Littrell, Village Treasurer Riebe, ACCounting Supervisor Latz, Dep Chief Anderson and Village Attorney Dunn are all present. Absent is Trustee King.

2. Review and approve Committee minutes:

A motion was made by Trustee Keast and seconded by Trustee Littrell to approve the committee meeting minutes from September 28, 2016 as presented. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0.

3. Bills:

i. General funds bills reviewed: Committee approved.

ii. Special fund bills reviewed: Committee approved.

4. Other:

o Proposal for additional camera and door lock in Police Dept -

Committee approved per the proposal.

O Request for donation to Kankakee Valley Montessori School -

Committee declined to participate.

O Discussion of 7000 N. Rod. Construction Cost estimate - Committee

tabled consideration at this time. May revisit later.

O Other items -Committee approved CN agreement per Village

attorney's recommendation.

5. OLD BUSINESS: None.

6. NEW BUSINESS: CN Railroad agreement.

7. PUBLIC COMMENTS: None.

8. ADJOURNMENT AND TIME:

A motion was made by Trustee Littrell and seconded by Trustee Keast to adjourn the committee meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0 and the meeting adjourned at 4:32 p.m.
