Administrator's Report

Mrs. Kolitwenzew stated that the building is back in swing after winter break. Students are working on making course selections for next year. They are moving forward with the full-time Ag program. Enrollment numbers in the program are up due to the additional offerings and better schedules. The computer that controls the boiler computer went down. Mr. Bertram is working on getting updated software on the new computer. The students and staff are Working hard to prepare for homecoming next week.

Mr. Stegall stated that he met with Mr. Jennings and talked about updating the established board committee's soon. Be thinking about what committees you would like to be on.

Mr. Stegall gave a "State of the School" update. The update included some of the highlights of the school year so far including, CAB Movie Night, Drama Club’s “Series of Unfortunate Events”, Herscher Marching Band, Full-Time Spanish, and sports. He reviewed the purchase of our own district bonds, saving the district money. He updated the board on the technology updates to date. Mr. Stegall discussed where the finances are at this time compared the proposed budgets. Currently the state is funding GSA as predicted but they are very behind with mandated categoricals. We have not received the fourth FY 16 payment and none of the 3 budgeted FY 17 payments. Depending on how the state finishes the year, it could have a very negative effect on the outcome of the fund balances.

Kurt question if there was any chance of collecting taxes on pipeline in our district.

Co-oping track with Grant Park has been finalized for your approval. Inter-governmental agreement is ready for approval. Mr. Stegall updated the board with the details of the agreement. Shouldn't cost us any more but improve our program.

MOTION: To approve the intergovernmental agreement between St. Anne High School and Grant Park High school for a track co-op. (RC)
