Football fans and anyone looking for some community fun are being invited to pig out at the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce's annual pigskin party celebrating the return of the Chicago Bears for spring training, according to the chamber's website.
The Kickoff Dinner is planned for July 26, with tickets priced at $100 for individuals and $600 for a table of eight.
This edition of the annual event is presented by Iroquois Federal, with sponsors including the CIGNA- Connecticut General, First Trust Bank, Peoples Bank of Kankakee County, and Olivet Nazarene University, where the dinner will take place.
Other event sponsors include Midland States Bank, Sodexo, Riverside Healthcare, Presence St. Mary’s Hospital, LinkPoint Media, the Daily Journal, Ravenspring Creative and local radio stations WVLI WFAV, WIVR and WYUR.
