Village of Bradley Insurance and Finance Committee met July 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Committee Members Present: Jaclyn Dugan-Roof, Don Barber & Lori Gadbois

Committee Members Absent: none

Meeting called to order at 6:16 pm

1.Public Comments: none

2.Review of Bills & Accounts

Motion to accept bills as presented and bring to full board for approval: Trustee Gadbois

Second: Trustee Dugan-Roof

Discussion: Trustee Dugan-Roof brought up the fact that bills are currently processed the 2 weeks before the meeting, but the payments have already been paid so there is no recourse if we don’t approve of any bills being paid. Will be looked at during future committee meetings

3.KanComm Payment Information: Chief Johnston informed the committee that one more payment in 2017/2018 budget will be made to make up for last year’s payment of upgrades (approximately $73,000)

4.Ambulance & Pumper Repair Estimates

Motion to bring to full board for approval: Trustee Gadbois

Second: Trustee Dugan-Roof

3 bids were sent out: 1 didn’t respond and 1 is too far behind to give a quote

Discussion: we have decided to refurbish instead of buying new (age of vehicle is 2005). Trustee Watson asked if we have we looked into possibly buying used?

Other Items: Finance Committee will schedule any and all future meetings. A regularly scheduled (until further notice) will be held at 5:30 pm prior to board meetings
