CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Bradley Village Board was called to order on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bradley Municipal Hall. President Adams presided.
Roll call: Trustees Balthazor, Redmond, Gadbois, Watson. Trustee’s Barber and Allen were absent
AGENDA
Trustee Watson added under new business 15 4 regarding Taxation.
A motion was made by Trustee Gadbois and seconded by Trustee Balthazor to approve the agenda with the additions made. (4 ayes 2 nays) Motion carried
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Trustee Redmond and seconded by Trustee Balthazor to approve the minutes of the Regular meeting dated February 26, 2018 as printed and presented. (4 ayes 2 nays) Motion carried

REPORT OF VILLAGE OFFICERS AND DEPARTMENT HEADS
PUBLIC WORKS - Director Memenga gave his report for the month of February 2018.
Utilities
91 JULIE locates were received and performed in February 8 service requests were generated and or closed out in February
Repaired 6 Street lights, 1 Traffic Light

Repaired large sink hole at intersection of Broadway & Grand
Filled approximately 105 potholes
Plowed snow and applied salt to Village Streets for events in February, using slightly over 300 tons of salt
Director Memenga noted that Earth Day is April 22, 2018 and in lieu of that his Department will be conducting a Spring Clean-up for 2 weeks (April 14 thru April 29). There will also be dumpsters at the Public Works facility for those 2 weeks.
BUILDING STANDARDS – Director Pallissard gave his report for the month of February 2018.

Mayor’s Recognition
Mayor Adams and Administrator Wojnarowski recognized Michael Randolph from Serve Pro who was unavailable to attend. They thanked him for his help and expertise when the Village Administrative Office had a water line break over the New Year holiday.
Mayor recognized Deputy Clerk Teresa Richert for her 20 years of service with the Village of Bradley from 1998 through 2018.
PRESENTATION OF BILLS AND ACCOUNTS
The bills and accounts were tabled until the next meeting, as the Finance Committee did not have a quorum.
REPORT OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES
Planning & Zoning Chairman Smith was absent. Secretary Ryland Gagnon gave the report from the PZC meeting on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Piggush Engineering is requesting in regards to property: 1846 N. State Route 50, Bourbonnais General Development Corporation of Kankakee.
Change of zoning classification for B-3 to a B-2 Commercial zoning district.
Special use Permit to conduct a storage facility business within a B-2 Commercial district Variance to allow for the construction, maintenance and use of metal buildings within a B-2 Commercial zoning district.
The Committee voted (7-0) in favor of all requests.
A motion was made to approve the Planning & Zoning Committee report by Trustee Gadbois and seconded by Trustee Redmond. (4 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried

ORDINANCE & TECHNOLOGY
O-3-18-1 an Ordinance rezoning certain premises located within the Village of Bradley, Kankakee Bradley, Kankakee County, Illinois and granting a Special Use Permit and variance for said premises. (1st reading)
O-3-18-2 an Ordinance amending Chapter 60, Article VIII of the Bradley Code. (1st reading)

Bradley Lion’s Football League gave a presentation and thanked the Village for all they do for the League. They presented the Board a plaque and Bradley Lion’s football cups.

ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Trustee Balthazor and seconded by Trustee Redmond to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:42 p.m. on a unanimous aye vote.
