Lindsay Parkhurst of the Republican party has been declared the winner in the House District 79 race against Democratic candidate Lisa Dugan.
With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Parkhurst had 56 percent of the vote with a total of 19,632 votes.
Dugan received 44 percent of the vote with a total of 15,323 votes.
