Village of Bourbonnais issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Great news for Village of Bourbonnais residents, our Public Works Department assists in the collection of post-holiday Christmas trees. All you have to do is take your tree to the nearest park, and we'll take care of the rest! (Please make sure lights and decorations are removed).
Sorry, no artificial trees are accepted. We are keeping it real.
