Analysis: Bradley Bourbonnais administrators rank 333rd in state for average pay

Administrators in Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School District 307 earn an average of $107,217 per year, ranking 333rd out of 864 districts in Illinois, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2020 average is 7.4 percent higher than in 2016 and 6.3 percent lower than in 2011. District administrators make 3.7 percent less than the state average of $111,293.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Bradley Bourbonnais School District in Kankakee County enrolled 1944 students in 2019-2020. There is an average of 153 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 171 to 1.
