The President’s Award this year goes to someone who has a demanding career and a busy family life but is always available to talk about the Chamber.
John has been a constant cheerleader for the Chamber staff. He is someone who will give his time to help our organization succeed. For the last two years he led the organization as the Chair of the Board, stepping in when there wasn’t anyone in the staff role.
I think the Board of Directors would agree that John Keigher has been the calm in the storm, someone you can depend on to collaborate and someone who serves his community with passion. John has not only served as our board Chair for the last two years, but he has also volunteered for various organizations in Kankakee County.
John, thank you for your service as the Chair of our board. We appreciate the hours you have spent to help the chamber rebuild, the time you’ve given towards events, and your never ending passion to help us succeed.
