Bourbonnais – Arthur L. Gold, 84, passed away on June 22, 2025, at his home. Born on August 30, 1940, in Chicago to Felix and Theresa Gold, he married Colleen M. Scanlan in 1965. Arthur, a union bricklayer for over 40 years, cherished time with his family and was a parishioner of Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais.
Survived by his daughters Lisa Blankenbuehler, Donna Gold, Jennifer Gold, granddaughter Cassidy Blankenbuehler (Michael Hager), and great-grandchildren Aria and Arthur Hager. Preceded in death by his wife Colleen, parents, brother Eugene, and sister Gertrude O’Brien.
The funeral Mass will be held at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais on June 26, 2025, with entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Memorials can be made to the family’s wishes in memory of Arthur L. Gold.
