CALL to ORDER and ROLL CALL

The Board of Education of Cissna Park Community Unit District #6 was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by President Kristina Phelan, with the following Board members and administrators present: Mrs. Bret Neukomm; Mrs. Kristina Phelan; Mr. Trent Kaeb; Mr. Jason Edelman; Mr. Brent Neukomm, Mrs. Bethany Dodd; and Ms. Tori Legan; Mr. Tim Simpson, superintendent; Mrs. Hurliman, grades 6-12 principal; and Mrs. Kelly Swalls, board secretary.

Mr. Neukomm made the motion, seconded by Mr. Kaeb to Approve the State Maintenance Grant Items as presented. The state will reimburse the cost of the items UP TO $50,000 with the district picking up the remaining cost. Discussion. REPORT FROM PRINCIPALS

Mrs. Hurliman said the we are in the full swing of winter sports. The 7th grade boys’ basketball ended in regionals with a great season. We have used 2 e-learning days due to the weather. IAR state testing will start in March and ACT is on March 25,2026. FFA is busy the next month with activities, and FFA week at the end of February. The citizen advisory committee meeting is February 25, 2026.
