City of Momence City Council met July 7.

The City Council Meeting of the City of Momence was held in the Council Chambers at 29 North Dixie Highway, Momence.
ROLL CALL
Roll was called by the Clerk with Aldermen Doody, Vela, Anderson,, Fordahl, Cook, Temple, Hart and Lesyna present
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
Alderman Josh Anderson made motion to approve the minutes of. Alderman Vela seconded the motion with Aldermen Doody, Fordahl, Cook, Hart and Lesyna voting yes.
APPROVAL OF THE BILLS
Alderman Doody made motion to approve the bills for payment. voting yes. Alderman Lesyna seconded the motion with Aldermen Doody, Anderson, Hart and Fordahl, Temple, Avelino, Cook passed.
CITIZENS FORUM
Tanny Herandez requesting permission to close south alley 100 block west Washington July 20th for golf cart outing. August 9-11 after parades August 17th for band playing David Cook made motion to approve an Tanya second. Doody, Vela, Anderson, Hart, Temple, Lesyna also voting yes.
Old Business –
Nothing for old business
Aldermanic – Doody called for budget finance for July 21st at 7:15.
Department Heads-
Scott stated that he was looking into a new chipper and all equipment is currently paid for and have no loans.
Treasurer report –
MAYORAL REPORT –
Mayor brought up glad fest requesting permission to use river street parking for band and beer garden and west Washington for tye die during glad fest festivities. Mark made the motion to approve and melissa second Hart, Anderson, Vela, Fordahl, Temple, and Cook approving.
Alderman Cook made motion to adjourn. Alderman Fordahl seconded the motion along with Aldermen, Vela, Anderson, Doody, Hart, Temple and Lesyna voting yes.
