City of Watseka Purchasing Committee met July 29.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
PRESENT: Mayor Marcier, Aldermen Miller and Garfield, Pence and Alderwoman Rohlfs
Mayor Marcier opened the meeting at 6:00 pm. There was no public comment.
The committee discussed the AFLAC bill as to why the city is paying for employees that are retired, questioned a bill from Amazon for the fire department, and discussion was had concerning the Republic Services garage rates and getting bids for the new contract coming up.
The committee looked at and signed 62 purchase orders.
Alderwoman Rohlfs made a motion to adjourn at 6:32 pm and Alderman Miller seconded. Roll call carried 5-0.
