Haas: Partnering with Treasurer’s Office to give people their ‘unclaimed assets’

Rep. Jackie Haas is glad to join hands with the Treasurer’s Office for this special event on finding any unclaimed assets.

In a Jun. 15 news release, Haas announced an unclaimed property event is scheduled for Jun. 28 in Coal City and also stated the process as to how people can claim a property.

“I am very happy that I can partner with the Treasurer’s Office to host this event,” said Haas. “This kind of thing isn’t something that people check up on that often, so to give them the opportunity to see if they have any unclaimed assets with the state is great.”

An unclaimed property event with Rep. Jackie Haas and the Illinois State Treasurer’s office will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coal City Public Library, 85 N. Garfield Street, in Coal City.
