Illinois Wesleyan claims 73-60 win in NCAA Division III tournament opener

On Saturday, March 7, Anthony Kemp, a former Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School standout, helped lead his collegiate team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, to a 73-60 win over the John Carroll Blue Streaks in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The teams met at Shirk Center at 6:40 p.m. for their first tournament matchup against John Carroll.

The Titans return to Shirk Center for their next game on Friday, March 13, with tipoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
