Rose Mary Johnston, a long-time resident of Manteno, Illinois, died on June 10, 2025, at the age of 73. Johnston, born on June 29, 1951, in Joliet, was known for her humor, love of cats, and passion for gardening. She leaves behind children Joshua Domston, Jacob Johnston, Lisa Fortin, and Kathy Splear, as well as her twin sister Rita Farthing. A celebration of life will take place on June 21, 2025, at Brown Jensen Funeral Home in Manteno. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
