Representing the Watseka Park District at the Milford District Library. Our tree has 400 hand folded cranes, hand dipped and glittered pinecones, sprays of baby seed pearls, crystal garland, and 800 white lights. The pinnacle of our tree is a hand made pagoda, which is symbolic of the home we find when we work together for Peace. We read a book together about Sadako Sasaki and her 1000 cranes, and were inspired to create this tree. Thanks to Miss Sherry, Miss Nancy, Miss Buffy, Miss Alissa, and Mr Dieter for the hours of Love & hard work.
