U.S. Representative Robin Kelly addressed several topics in a series of posts on February 12, 2026, ranging from immigration enforcement to calls for government accountability and recognition of civil rights milestones.

In a post made at 14:00 UTC, Kelly announced her leadership role in a congressional hearing regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stating, “This morning, I am leading a hearing with @HouseDemocrats about ICE’s reign of terror in our communities. Tune in and hear testimonies from witnesses who have been impacted by Secretary Noem’s rogue agents, who have caused violence, death, and chaos. Accountability cannot”.

Later that day at 16:15 UTC, Kelly commented on recent developments involving former Trump administration officials and the ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s associates. She wrote, “President Trump’s Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick, visited Epstein’s island… with his wife and kids. When will the DOJ finally release all the Epstein Files and hold powerful men accountable?”

At 18:15 UTC, Kelly recognized the anniversary of the NAACP’s founding by stating, “Founded 117 years ago today, the NAACP has stood at the forefront of justice and positive change. I’m grateful to all chapters that continue the work, pushing our nation closer to its promise for all.”

Robin Kelly has held her seat in Congress since winning a special election in 2013 against Paul McKinley with over 70% of the vote. Since then, she has consistently secured reelection by wide margins in subsequent general elections through 2022.
