U.S. Representative Robin Kelly, who has represented Illinois’s 2nd congressional district since 2013, shared updates on social media about her recent visits to local farms and agricultural initiatives in Illinois.
On August 20, 2025, Kelly posted: “Touring farms and hosting my annual Barn Hall today. I’m grateful to our farmers for sharing their challenges and priorities. I’ll take what I’ve learned back to Washington to fight for the resources farmers need and deserve. Stay tuned to check out where I go!”

Robin Kelly has maintained strong support within her district across several election cycles. In the most recent general election of 2022, she defeated Thomas Lynch by a margin of nearly two-to-one. She also won substantial majorities in previous elections against Theresa Raborn in 2020, David Merkle in 2018, John Morrow in 2016, and Eric Wallace in 2014.
