The Bourbonnais Village Board unanimously approved a $215,000 road construction project for approximately 1,300 feet of Bourbonnais Parkway west of Illinois 45 at its regular meeting last month.
The village will use its portion of motor fuel tax funds to pay for the road project.
Bourbonnais will also replace 37 sewer manhole covers to alleviate water infiltration problems.
Village officials also issued a reminder to residents to use bags or cans for collecting leaves, instead of sweeping leaves into the street.
In other business, the village continues to interview candidates for village administrator.
