The Village of Manteno board voted unanimously Thursday to allocate $2 million in tax levy funds to cover payments on the village's bond debt.
The bonds were originally issued in 2013. The village has until 2017 to repay them.
The trustees approved the measure 5-0.
Trustee Todd Crockett was absent.
