The Manteno Village Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. today in the Village Board Room, in the Leo T. Hassett Community Center, 211 N. Main Street.
After the village president and administrator reports are presented, the board will vote on six ordinances proposed by the Planning and Zoning Committee that would amend parts of the village zoning code, including the required distance between curbs and intersections, front-yard setbacks, sign rules, design requirements for entrances and street-lighting standards.
The board also will consider an ordinance to authorize an intergovernmental agreement with Momence Town & County Inc. concerning occupational taxes that will be generated by the Frank's Appliance Center and Sleep Source store that will be located at 131 N. Main Street in Manteno.
