The Bourbonnais Township Park District will meet Thursday at Exploration Station to discuss a bond measure to cover the district's expenses.
The $861,300 bond would be issued by First Trust Bank Illinois and would cover land payments as well as all the costs associated with maintaining and protecting the park district's lands and buildings. The funds would be recouped through future tax levies.
The group will also hear reports from committees representing Living History, Diamond Point, Exploration Station, Parks and Grounds and Finance.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
