The Manteno Planning and Zoning Committee will discuss apartment inspections Thursday at Village Hall.
Trustee Todd Crockett has proposed an apartment inspection program as a means of enforcing ordinances, but several village officials have expressed skepticism about the need for the program.
The committee will also discuss year-end housing and permit numbers, review changes to permit requirements and recap the village's empty lot situation.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 a.m.
