The Bradley village board approved a request to hold the annual Fish Fry on June 3 and June 4 at its Jan. 25 meeting.
The village board unanimously agreed to give the Fish Fry Committee permission to use the west parking lot from June 1 through June 5, close Broadway Street and place barricades to close off roads.
The board also discussed a project proposed by the Woman's Club of Kankakee that would pay tribute to three former Kankakee governors by placing statues of them at the corner of Wall and Court streets.
Additionally, on the recommendation of the Finance Committee, a resolution was made approving the village's participation in the fuel card services agreement between the state of Illinois and Wex Bank.
The board also approved a report from the treasurer and a motion, also at the recommendation of the Finance Committee, to pay all bills and accounts.
