The Bradley village board reviewed a request Feb. 22 from the Bradley Bourbonnais Little League board of directors asking the village to pay half of the bill for electrical repairs needed at Slater Field.
The request said approximately 40 percent of the 650 little league participants live in Bradley, and that the little league's board of directors was asking Bradley and Bourbonnais to split the $24,000 bill evenly.
The Bradley board agreed to forward the request to the Bradley Finance Committee for further review.
In addition, the Bradley Police Department reported 2,634 calls for service and 73 arrests during January, and the Bradley Fire Department reported 36 fires, 7 car accidents and 119 ambulance calls.
The meeting was adjourned after 25 minutes.
