Bradley has agreed to the six-week trial of a group fuel purchasing program.
The Village of Bradley agreed to sign on to a trial of a new fuel card program at its regular meeting at Bradley Municipal Hall on Jan. 25.
The six-week trial will allow Bradley to sample the benefits of joining a fuel purchasing program brokered by the state with the company Wex Bank. The program offers local governments to buy into the same fuel purchasing agreement, leveraging better prices.
The plan was previously reviewed and recommended by the village's finance committee.
The Bradley board approved the village's participation in the program by a vote of 6-0.
