The Kankakee County Community Services Committee met this morning for its regularly scheduled meeting, during which it discussed giving the animal control department approval to dispose of a surplus 2003 GMC truck.
Also on the agenda for the meeting was a discussion with the county clerk on the property tax process and passport reviews.
The county recorder also issued a property fraud alert during the meeting.
