Two high school softball stars recently signed letters of intent to join the Olivet Nazarene program, ONUTigers.com recently announced.
Emily Struble of Carrollton and Katherine Porter of Glenbard West will join the program starting next fall.

Struble, a middle infielder and pitcher, batted .392 last season and had an 11-3 record with a 0.95 earned-run average en route to earning Illinois Coaches Association third-team all-state honors last season and has been named All-Western Illinois Valley Conference two seasons running. She plans to major in petroleum engineering.
Porter, an infielder, batted .408 for Glenbard West, amassing 31 hits, seven doubles and two home runs. Last season, she set an Illinois High School Association record for most hits in a game (five) and doubles in a contest (four). She was also named to the All-West Suburban Conference team. Porter plans to major in elementary education.
