Taekwondo classes for adults and children and karate classes for kids will be starting soon in the Kankakee Valley Park District, according to kvpd.com.
“Taekwondo For Tiny Tigers” classes will run from Nov. 1-Dec. 22, 4:30-5:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1220 Larry Power Road in Bourbonnais. The class is designed for children ages 3-5. Cost is $55, which does not include the price of a uniform. The deadline to register is Oct. 28.
“Karate For Kids and Adults Taekwondo” also will run from Nov. 1-Dec. 22 at 1220 Larry Power Road, with classes held from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The class is open to participants ages 6 and older. Cost to register is $65, which also does not include uniform cost. The registration deadline is Oct. 28.
