The Olivet Nazarene University men's soccer team wrapped up the 2016 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) regular-season title with its 2-1 overtime win over St. Xavier last week in Chicago, according to onutigers.com.

The title was the Tigers' second regular-season league crown in three seasons.

ONU will go for its fourth CCAC Tournament title in five years when the tourney begins Nov. 4 at the Snowbarger Athletic Complex in Bourbonnais. The Tigers' other recent tourney titles came from 2012-14.

Against St. Xavier, Richard Schneider scored the winning goal in overtime. Christian Henock-Berhanu scored ONU's other goal in the game.

The Tigers closed out the regular season unbeaten in league play, at 11-0-1 record, after beating Trinity International University 4-2 Saturday at home. This victory secured the ONU program's first-ever unbeaten conference season.
