Two Olivet Nazarene football players named to CoSIDA All-District Team

Olivet Nazarene football players Drew Philson and Andrew Manganiello have been named to the 2106 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) All-District Football Team for District 2, according to onutigers.com.

Philson, a senior defensive back, was named to the team for the second-straight season. In three academic years, Philson had a grade-point average of 3.98 while majoring in actuarial science. He was named to the Midwest States Football Association All-Academic Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, and was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2015.

Manganiello, a senior defensive lineman, has a 3.44 GPA in economics-finance, according to cosida.com. He also was an MFSA All-Academic Team selection in each of the previous two seasons.

The honor is voted on by a national collection of college sports-information directors. There were 22 players voted onto the team from District 2.
