Olivet Nazarene men finish 12th at NAIA Cross Country National Championship

The Olivet Nazarene men's cross-country team finished in 12th place out of 37 teams in the NAIA Cross Country National Championship recently in Elsah, Illinois.

Individually, Ryan Larkin led the Tigers by finishing 51st in a field of 331 runners in the 8K race, according to onutigers.com. Also for ONU, Jason Reynolds was 58th, Matt Meehan was 98th, Wesley Meyer was 118th and Zachary Bishop was 124th.

Southern Oregon won the men's team championship.

In the women's division of the National Championship, ONU's Elizabeth Soper crossed the finish line in 36th place out of 334 runners in the 5K race. Teammate Sarah Ray finished 114th, while fellow Tiger Alexa Beezhold was 185th. ONU had just three female runners in the race after the entire ONU women's team fell short of qualifying for the national meet.

British Columbia won the women's team championship.
