Two coed youth soccer leagues at the Kankakee YMCA have registration underway, according to the organization's website.
The Mighty Mite Indoor League for players ages 3-4 has registration until Feb. 26. The league plays each Monday for seven weeks starting March 13. The first part of each session will focus on practice, with the last part consisting of a game. A coaches meeting will take place at 5 p.m. March 13.
The Youth Indoor League for ages 5-14 also has registration open until Feb. 26. Games will be played on Friday nights or Saturdays the week of March 20, with practices starting the week of March 13. The league lasts seven weeks, with one practice each week. Players will be taught soccer fundamentals appropriate to their ages. Coaches will have a meeting at 6 p.m. March 17.
Fees to play in the leagues are $35 per member and $70 per prospective member.
