BOURBONNAIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT #53

KANKAKEE COUNTY, ILLINOIS

HELD TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2017

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES

6:30 PM

The special meeting of the Board of Education of Bourbonnais Elementary School District No. 53, Kankakee County, Illinois was called to order by Board President Rob Rodewald on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Bourbonnais Elementary School District #53 Administrative Offices, 281 W John Casey Road, Bourbonnais IL. 

1.02 Pledge of Allegiance

1.03 The following members answered roll call: Justin Giacchino, John Hall, Michael Jurka, Rich McBarnes, Nicole McCarty, Jayne Raef, Rob Rodewald. The following members were absent and did not participate in the meeting in any manner or to any extent whatsoever: None. Also Present: Superintendent Daniel R. Hollowell, Ed.D,

Member Michael Jurka made the motion, seconded by Member Nicole McCarty to enter closed session at 6:30 PM. The following members answered roll call: Justin Giacchino, John Hall, Michael Jurka, Rich McBarnes, Nicole McCarty, Jayne Raef, Rob Rodewald. The following members were absent and did not participate in the meeting in any manner or to any extent whatsoever: None. 

Also Present: Superintendent Daniel Hollowell, Ed.D.Discussion Closed Session(5 ILCS 120/2) (from Ch. 102, par. 42) Sec. 2. Open meetings. (c) Exceptions. A public body may hold closed meetings to consider the following subjects: (21) Discussion of minutes of meetings lawfully closed under this Act, whether for purposes of approval by the body of the minutes or semi-annual review of the minutes as mandated by Section 2.06.

Member Michael Jurka made the motion, seconded by Member Justin Giacchino to return to open session at 6:36 PM. The following voice votes where heard: Ayes: All. Nays: None. Mr. Rodewald declared open session.

Member Nicole McCarty made the motion, seconded by Member Michael Jurka to adjourn meeting at 6:37 PM. The following voice votes where heard: Ayes: All. Nays: None. Mr. Rodewald declared meeting adjourned.
