The Olivet Nazarene University volleyball team will host camps this summer, with registration underway for the camps, according to the school's athletic website.

The junior-high camps for girls in incoming grades 5 through 8 will run from June 11 to 13 and June 13 to 15, with the high-school camp going from July 9 to 12 for players in incoming grades 9 through 12. Costs include $300 for residents and $250 for commuters.

Last year's camp drew about 220 participants, with the curriculum featuring the fundamentals of the sport as well as discussions on “the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, sacrifice within a team and integrated faith,” the website stated. Overnight campers could stay in campus housing and have use of the aquatic center, with meals at the Ludwig Center.

Go to the website to register. For more information on the camps or the ONU High School Tiger Classic Tournament planned for July 15, email Head Coach Brenda Williams at Bwillia1@olivet.edu or call 815-928-5411.
