Employers are being encouraged to attend a free job fair hosted by Rep. Lindsay Parkhurst (R-Kankakee) on July 27 in Kankakee.
Any business operating in the area is encouraged to take part in the fair, which is designed to help them connect with qualified job seekers who can fit their company’s needs.
Employers may reserve space at the event by emailing jlmceinc@aol.com or calling (815) 464-9908.
In a flier posted on Parkhurst’s Facebook page, the organizers note that there is limited space, so those interested should register quickly.
The fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus at 187 S. Indiana Avenue.
