Streets & Alley, Veldhuizen:
*Motion to authorize grant application for street light project (project amount, $8,042.30: grant amount $4,029.90. Proposed annual savings appx. $7,000)

Mr. Wold reported a broken grate, and work needed at a sidewalk ramp
Finance, Dickson: First reading Ordinance O-3-17-1 authorizing agreement with Keith & Tiffany Brack
Annual TIF payment to Drunken Monkey, Tabled
Vote to authorize annual commitment letter with Tighe, Kress, & Orr Accountants

Sewer & Garbage, Morgan: Discussion on May – October produce stand pertained to the Berry Farm would like to have a stand in town, on Tuesdays, also participating when the Farmers Market is running. Location for the stand is being looked in to. Farmers Market will run July & August. Sewer meeting 4/10/17. Sewer Plant open house 4/29/17. First aid kit to be replaced, controls to be replaced, and the Sewer Grant is not in yet.
Building & Grounds, Wold: new chairs are in for the Community Building, chair racks are on Back order
Ordinance & Insurance, Morse: First readings held on the following Ordinances:
O-3-17-2- amending title 3, section 3-2-11 (A) liquor regulations, number of licenses
O-3-17-3- amending title 3, chapter 2 of the Grant Park code book (Ordinance re powder alcohol)
O-3-17-4- enacting an anti-nepotism policy in the Village of Grant Park
O-3-17-5- regulating unmanned aircraft systems in the Village of Grant Park (drones)
O-3-17-6- prohibiting parking or storing vehicles and objects on roads and alleys within the Village of Grant Park, Kankakee County, Illinois where such parking or storage would block passage of emergency or maintenance vehicles (6’ from center of alley)
O-3-17-7- adding Basset training requirements to title 3, chapter 2 of the Village code of Ordinances of Grant Park. (beverage server training)
O-3-17-8- adding title 4, chapter 4 vacant buildings and vacant lots, in the Village of Grant Park
Law Enforcement, Malkowski: 87 calls 3/01/17 – 3/20/17
Chief Frey: announced resignation of Officer Hoekstra
