Kankakee County Board of Community and Economic Development met June 7.

Trustee Keast called a Community and Economic Development Committee meeting to take place on June 7, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
1. Roll Call:
Present for roll call was Trustee Keast, Trustee Fischer, Trustee Greenlee, Trustee King, Trustee Serafini, Village Treasurer Riebe, Village Administrator Van Mill, Assistant Administrator Wimberly, and Village Attorney Dunn. Absent is Trustee Littrell.
2. Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by Trustee King and seconded by Trustee Fischer to approve the minutes from April 24, 2017 (Annexation, Building 8i Zoning) and February 13, 2017 (Community & Economic Development). Motion passed on a Voice vote of 5-0.
3. Other Business: Update on the Progress of the Business District - Gene Norber.
Gene Norber reviewed findings for the Bourbonnais Business District Eligibility Study recently completed by EDR (Economic Development Resources). See presentation attached.

7. Adjournment and Time:
A motion was made by Trustee King and seconded by Trustee Fischer to adjourn the committee meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 5-0 and the meeting adjourned at 4:40 p.m.
