Manteno Fire Department responded to 169 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the Kankakee Times.
The calls in Manteno included 32 fires - 11 structure fires, 11 vehicle fires and 10 other fires.
In all, the department saw $160,710 in fire loss - or about $5,022 per fire.
The department also received 137 false calls, including two malicious calls and 135 other false calls.
