Donovan Cusd 3 School District Board met September 27.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
I. Mr. Schultz called the Special Meeting to order at 5:45 p.m.
II. Roll was called with Mr. Schultz, Mr. Munson, Mrs. Wisniewski, Mrs. Carlson, Dr. Miller and Mr. Schmidt present. Mrs. Regnier was absent. Mr. Westrick, Mrs. Pitkin, Ms. Switzer, and Mrs. Lanoue were also present. Ms. Wendy Davis and Mr. Scot Laudenbach arrived at 5:46.
III. Mr. Westrick presented the budget summary for FY18. He stated that the school district has a $60,000 surplus in the Education Fund. He also stated that we currently have a deficit in the Transportation Fund. He then recognized Mark Mortin who works in the reimbursement department at the Illinois State Board of Education for his help. He then stated that if we were to get the anticipated transportation payments, it should cover the current deficit. Mr. Schultz thanked him for his report.
IV. Mr. Schultz called for any Public Comment. There was no public comment.
V. Mr. Wisniewski made a motion to adjourn the special hearing/public hearing, seconded by Mr. Munson. The meeting was adjourned at 5:57 p.m. with a roll call vote – All Yes (6).
