Village of Bourbonnais Finance Committee met January 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

1.Roll Call:

Village President Paul Schore, Trustee Greenlee, Trustee Fischer, Trustee Littrell, Trustee Serafini, Village Treasurer Riebe, Village Administrator Van Mill, Finance Director Wolf and Village Attorney Dunn. Absent was Trustee King and Trustee Keast.

2.Review and approve Committee minutes:

A motion was made by Trustee Greenlee and seconded by Trustee Serafini to approve the committee minutes from December 13, 2017.

3. Bills:

i. General funds bills reviewed: Committee approved.

ii. Special fund bills reviewed: Committee approved.

4. Other:

• Review and approval of Storm and Sewer work done by EC of Kankakee at Grand Ave and Grand Dr. - Committee reviewed and approved the project after hearing from PW Director Chamness.

•Approve payment for completed class by Jason Janota and request for additional training class. - Committee approved the reimbursement and the additional training requested for Jason.

•Review of bids for the Burch Lift Station Relocation. - After some discussion bids with Village Engineer Tyson, the Committee agreed to recommend the Board award the bid to R&R Inc.

•Report on early bidding for the remaining HVAC units for the Municipal Center - Committee agreed to request bids for the remaining three units now to secure the equipment since one of the remaining units could potentially fail soon.

5. Old Business: None.

6. New Business: None.

7. Public Comments: None.

8. Adjournment and Time: A motion was made by Trustee Littrell and seconded by Trustee Serafini to adjourn the Finance Committee meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 4-0 and the meeting adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
