Village of Bourbonnais Finance Committee met January 17.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
1.Roll Call:
Village President Paul Schore, Trustee Greenlee, Trustee Keast, Trustee Serafini, Village Treasurer Riebe, Village Administrator Van Mill, Finance Director Wolf and Village Attorney Dunn. Absent was Trustee King, Trustee Fischer and Trustee Littrell.
2. Review and approve Committee minutes:
A motion was made by Trustee Greenlee and seconded by Trustee Serafini to approve the committee minutes from January 3, 2018.
3. Bills:
i. General funds bills reviewed: Committee approved.
ii. Special fund bills reviewed: Committee approved.
4. Other:
• Review November Operating Results - Accounting Supervisor Latz reviewed the Operating Results report with the Committee.
•Report on Fiscal 2019 Budget process - Finance Director Wolf reported on the progress in compiling the Fiscal 2019 budget.
•Report on preparations for Collective Bargaining negotiations - Finance Director Wolf reported on preparations for the upcoming collective bargaining negotiations. Meetings have been held with the Department heads to collect information on changes that would be beneficial to management as we move closer to meeting dates.

5. Executive Session to Discuss Personnel Matters:
A motion was made by Trustee Greenlee and seconded by Trustee Serafini to enter into a closed meeting at the end of the regular meeting to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity, as allowed by 5 ILCS 120/2(C)(1) with no final action to be taken.
A motion was made by Trustee Keast and seconded by Trustee Greenlee to exit closed session and return to regular committee meeting.
6. Old Business:
Trustee Keast inquired about the traffic signal that was part of the Farm & Fleet redevelopment agreement. Committee decided that if IDOT does not approve the signal, it will be necessary to reopen the agreement with Farm & Fleet.

8. Public Comments: None.
9. Adjournment and Time: A motion was made by Trustee Keast and seconded by Trustee Serafini to adjourn the Finance Committee meeting. Motion passed on a voice vote of 3-0 and the meeting adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
